Blum doesn't really talk much about drug use, does she? I'm not sure how significant that is; I would assume that drinking is more widespread than drug use at both colleges, although I wouldn't be surprised if I were to find that SFSU students used marijuana frequently than Notre Dame students, if only because of our geographic differences. At the same time, I wouldn't be surprised if Notre Dame students used more "party drugs" like cocaine or ecstasy, or drugs more commonly abused in the Midwest, like meth; but that's total conjecture. It would be interesting to try to look up some statistics, if there are any available.
